Terms of Service
Custom Work — Aard Ventures Inc.
1. Custom Work & Deposits
All work performed by Aard Ventures is custom. Full payment or a deposit (as specified in the estimate or quote) is required prior to commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deposits are non-refundable once materials are ordered, artwork is prepared, or production has begun.
2. Artwork Requirements
Client-supplied artwork must be provided in production-ready format (print-ready/vector files with correct sizing, resolution, and bleed where applicable).
Files created in Canva, AI image generators, screenshots, low-resolution images, or similar formats are not considered production-ready.
3. Artwork Preparation Fees
Aard Ventures can work from Canva files, AI-generated artwork, sketches, screenshots, or “napkin concepts.” However, any time required to convert, recreate, resize, vectorize, correct, or prepare artwork for production will be billed as an additional Artwork Production Fee.
Artwork preparation fees will be quoted separately or billed at an hourly rate unless otherwise agreed.
4. Proof Approval
Production will not begin until written proof approval is received. Once approved, Aard Ventures is not responsible for errors including spelling, layout, sizing, or colour discrepancies.
5. Production Timeline
Production time begins once:
- The required deposit has been received
- All artwork is production-ready
- Final written proof approval has been provided
Standard turnaround time is approximately two (2) weeks from the above conditions being met.
Smaller projects may be completed sooner depending on current production volume. Estimated timelines are not guaranteed and may vary based on workload, material availability, and project complexity.
Rush orders may be accommodated subject to availability and may incur an additional rush fee.
6. Acceptance of Terms
Approval of an estimate, quote, payment of a deposit, or written confirmation of work constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
